1000am onwards busking and Music areound winchester
1030am onwards Morris dancing, Appalachian Clog Dance and International Dancers including Fijian men’s dance like a Hakka, performing throughout the centre of Winchester at the Buttercross, Cathedral Close, High Street, Covered Way by M&S, Brooks Centre.
230pm Dance procession from the Cathedral Green to the Buttercross down the High Street finishing in the Brooks Centre at 330pm
330pm – 5pm New Roots Showcase of Music and dance at the Brooks centre.
2-5pm – St Lawrence Church Showcase; Choirs, Guitar and Solo Folk Singing – tickets £4 on the door – come anytime and stay as long as you like!
7-11pm ceiledh at the discovery centre. Tickets £6 on the night (£20 for a family of 4 or more), £5 in advance. Threepenny Bit will be playing, so come and join in this great finale – open to all with bar and snacks available.
